Danae – Medusa

Grupo formado en el año 1979, cuyos referentes Rush, Yes, Led Zeepelin, Deep Purple y nuestro Crucis, marcaron fuertemente el estilo de esta formación. Durante la decada de los 80 las presentaciones fueron continuas en la ciudad de Rosario (Sindicato de Luz y Fuerza – Asociación Cristiana de Jóvenes, Anfiteatro Municipal, Elefante Blanco y distintos pub’s) Luego de un tiempo, la banda por motivos personales y profesionales se disgregó. Retomando hacia el año 2000 tras varias tentativas anteriores, largas horas de ensayo y con la decisión de grabar su disco emblemático, plasman en el año 2004 su primera placa discográfica de edición propia. Esta fue realizada en los estudios "Del Camote Records”, presentando la misma en Funes como parte de los festejos del 130 aniversario de la ciudad. En la actualidad la banda se encuentra recopilando material anterior y trabajando en nuevas composiciones.

The Warlocks – Skull Worship

The Warlocks new album Skull Worship comes out this week all around the world. Uncut gave us 7/10, Q gave us 3 stars & Mojo 6/10. Listen to the Sound Opinions review below who say its "one of the most exciting records of the year. We would like to thank these entities for taking the time to review us. Hopefully a tour is on the horizon, you just never know.

The Warlocks construct a dense, more elaborate web of sound, layers of distortion and the occasional synth a la Silver Apples and Red Crayola. Silver & Plastic expands the bands oeuvre into acoustic territory recalling T Rex. Other songs like Endless Drop turn to Hawkwind, Neu! and experimental rock for inspiration.
