Keane es una banda inglesa de piano rock procedente de Battle, East Sussex, en la Inglaterra del sureste. Sus cuatro primeros materiales discográficos, Hopes and Fears, Under the Iron Sea, Perfect Symmetry y Night Train fueron directos al número 1 de la lista de ventas del Reino Unido inmediatamente después de su lanzamiento. Rock Heavy-Progresivo Aleman-Message-1973!

 From Books And Dreams

Todo empieza con “Sleep!” una pequeña introducción que termina justo antes de convertirse en algo somnífero o mejor dicho termina justo antes de empezar el verdadero letargo. Que toma su primer giro con “Dreams And Nightmares (Dreams)” una pieza hipnótica, lleno de viejas guitarras encantadoras de serpientes, Riff enfermizos, saxofón oscuro que continua con su presencia en “Turn Over” pero apuntando sus notas directamente hacia nuestro inconsciente, este tema en especial me recuerda a propuestas mucho más modernas como “Bohren & der club of gore” pero incluso más venenoso. El resto del disco es igualmente letal, entre las fronteras del heavy progresivo y la psicodelia abrasiva.

He leído de las influencias de bandas como [b]Nektar[/b] en la propuesta de estos alemanes, la verdad por lo menos en esta placa se me hacen más oscuros, pesados y con una atmosfera de jazz lúgubre y densa, así que sabes para donde apunta su propuesta, en lo personal lo recomiendo altamente...
